Dalton Designs diversifies into aviation
USA, Florida. Superyacht interior design studio, Dalton Designs has announced a move into private aircraft interiors, to supplement its marine and residential offerings.…
The company’s first aviation project is Bombardier’s Global Express, which was recently completed and is ready for use by its owner. Speaking to SuperyachtDesign.com, Dalton explained that the primary motivation for branching out was to offer the company’s existing clients a one-stop shop for all of their requirements. But she also acknowledged the slowdown in the US superyacht market, which has forced many companies to diversify their offering.
Dalton Designs is also working on a 32m Burger refit, due to be completed by March 2013, and a 32m Jim Smith-built sportsfisher, due to be launched in May 2013.
