The Superyacht Design Forum: our most influential edition to date
Further speakers revealed…
In just under one month, from Tuesday 25th to Wednesday 26th June, the doors of Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour will be wide open to welcome over 200 delegates to The Superyacht Design Forum.
Over the course of two days, The Superyacht Design Forum 2019 promises to focus on the most innovative and forward-thinking subjects in an interactive format. This powerful meeting of minds will see representatives from all sectors of the market become enlightened by the design processes of key thinkers and influencers external to the superyacht industry.
Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner – two names which you will either have incredibly strong opinions on, or (and most likely) absolutely no opinions on whatsoever. With Kylie Jenner’s net worth now reaching $1 billion, thanks to her cosmetic line which she famously promotes on social media platforms, and Kim Kardashian continuously attempting to ‘break the internet’ with a loyal and ever-increasing 140 million followers on Instagram, it is important to think beyond your strong or lacking opinions of the Kardashians and realise how influential social media can be for businesses.
We are delighted to welcome Ben Jeffries, CEO & Co-Founder of Influencer, and Chris Donnelly – Founder & Managing Director of Verb Brands, to this year’s edition of The Superyacht Design Forum. Jeffries and Donnelly will help us assess the value of online platforms, providing their expertise and helping us to consider what the superyacht industry is doing right socially.
As the world’s youngest billionaire, Kylie Jenner has utilised online platforms, creating and perpetuating an image and lifestyle which is desirable for followers to engage with, and in many cases mimic. Our session ‘The Impact of Social Media on Design’ will pick apart Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and other tools, to discover how they have become so important and such sources of inspiration for clients and creatives.
While Jeffries steers one of the UK’s largest influencer marketing companies, connecting brands with the world’s most influential content creators on social media, Donnelly specialises in creating digital strategies for luxury brands by building websites, eCommerce platforms and conducting SEO, PPC and social campaigns. For all the superyacht market’s varied genius, few would argue that it has conquered the world of social media, the ideas presented by Donnelly and Jeffries may prove to be invaluable.
Your opinion is valued, and we want to know what you think the value of social media is to our industry. Tell us at The Superyacht Design Forum, by clicking here and signing up today.
