Daniele Bottino is Manager Business Development with ABS responsible for implementing business development strategies in the yacht sector and sales plans in Europe.

 

With more than 20 years in the marine business, he commenced his career at ABS as a plan approval engineer in Genoa (Italy) before moving to the survey department and gaining experience in new construction, existing yachts and machinery surveys in a number of locations in Europe and the Middle East. During his tenure as plan approval engineer, he gained experience in both FRP construction, steel and aluminium yachts, from the propulsion system to the engine room equipment, the piping systems as well as the structures.

 

Daniele completed part of his studies at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK and graduated from the University of Genoa in Italy with a Masters degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.
