MC Yacht founds MC Yacht & Co. International

MC Yacht, a yacht services company in Italy specialising in dealing with mid-sized yachts, and exclusive dealer for Italy of French shipyard Ocea, has announced the constitution of a new company dedicated to developing larger projects on the international market.

MC Yacht & Co. International will be the brokerage and management house dedicated to bringing the traditional areas of business of MC Yacht into a larger dimension, in terms of both geographical areas and of yacht size.

Under the supervision of MC Yacht founder Aldo Manna, the new venture will be managed by Francesco Merenda, manager with a background in both the automotive and yachting industries, with the mission to expand the business of MC Yacht outside of Italy.


With offices in Italy in Porto Mirabello and the USA in Miami, MC Yacht & Co. International intends to provide a 360-degree support starting from consultancy in designing and building a yacht, managing services on board, planning and following maintenance, finding crew, dealing with pre-owned boats and their sale, brokerage, management of berths.
 
“For almost 20 years we have been serving an International clientele who chose Italy as the best place to enjoy their yachting life,” states Manna. “Our close partnership with Ocea Yacht, solid and renowned French shipyard, combined with our strong connections in USA, naturally brought us to look to important markets abroad.


“In addition, we are developing some innovative projects that – we believe – will immediately find a positive response from boating lovers, people who enjoy large yachts and want to live a trouble-free experience. This is not just in our minds, it is a target that we have set and that we are pursuing.”

Manna reveals that the company has already finalized a concept for a large vessel series, intended to be the first in a series of maxi yachts developed by MC Yachts & Co. International in cooperation with designer Fulvio De Simoni.
