Wally Yachts announced they have received a substantial investment from Archimedia to develop the Wally brand.
Archimedia creates and invests in high quality consumer technology and real estate brands.
Wally, who design and manufacture motorboats, sail boats and skis, will use the investment to develop new products alongside establishing the brand further in the yachting sector.
“We are excited that Archimedia has decided to make this substantial investment in Wally. We believe Archimedia’s investment endorses the leading quality of our products and the tremendous potential of our brand,” said Luca Bassani, founder and president of Wally. “This investment provides us with an enhanced ability to develop new models and new markets over the coming years.”
Recent projects from Wally include the sailing performance ocean cruiser Wally 147 and the cruiser-racer Wally 100. Wally also have a 50m sailing cruiser under construction which is being created completely out of carbon fibre, the Wally 50m.
