Albany Marina in the Bahamas completed

A new marina for superyachts has been completed in a luxurious new resort in New Providence in the Bahamas.

The Albany Marina has been under construction for 18 months and is part of a 580-acre luxury resort. The marina offers a host of amenities for yacht owners and features 71 slips, which are fitted with Bellingham Marine’s floating concrete dock systems, and can berth yachts from 15.2-metres to 73.2-metres in length.


Yachts can be supplied with electricity and the internet when docked, and a designated fuel dock features high-speed fuel dispensers. Maintenance, repairs and yacht cleaning contracts are also available.

Entertaining isn’t limited to onboard the yacht, as the marina’s six activity platforms can be used for gatherings or staging areas for provisioning the yacht.

Security and yacht watch is provided 24 hours a day, with attendants available seven days a week for assistance with docking and provisioning.



The marina also features a boutique hotel, a Ernie-Els designed golf course, a fitness centre, spa, adult pool and bar, a family water park, a children’s clubhouse, and a selection of restaurants.

The marina residence will be officially launched in early 2011.
