Coleman Insurance Brokers appoints Wayne Knibbs as Senior Development Executive

Coleman Insurance Brokers has announced the appointment of Wayne Knibbs as Senior Development Executive of its Coleman Marine division. Knibbs will work alongside Senior Account Executive,  Andy Coles to develop Coleman’s ‘high net worth yacht’ business.

Knibbs has been involved in superyacht insurance for seven of the 15 years he’s been working in the insurance industry, based both in the south of France and the UK.

Steve Risk, Head of Sales at Coleman Insurance Brokers, commented: “This appointment reflects Coleman’s ambitious plans within the marine insurance sector, and adds specialist resource to an already growing marine business.  Wayne joins us at a very exciting time and we wish him every success in his new role.”

Speaking to SuperyachtNews.com Risk iterated the significant level of superyacht activity Coleman has undertaken for many years. “We have a significant stake in [the superyacht] market but we’ve been operating discreetly, so to speak”, Risk explained. “We’ve got an existing team who have been extremely successful but we’re now trying to develop further into the market with the appointment of Wayne.”
