Point Distribution Ltd to distribute TMQ Autopilot range

Point Distribution Ltd will be distributing the full range of TMQ Autopilot controllers – including the AP47, AP55, AP4 and AP9 models – which can be used in yachts up to 50m.

TMQ Autopilot devices feature an inbuilt magnetometer, 3-axis accelerometers and 2-axis gyro sensors that combine to produce a digital electronic compass that is capable of operating at rapid rates of revolution.

Point Distribution will be responsible for supplying all components to superyachts, including the steering ram and pump.

Chris Cole, Director of Point Distribution Ltd, said: “TMQ range is extensive and covers all Autopilot requirements for the leisure and workboat end of the market. Point Distribution Ltd has been working with TMQ Europe and Flotec Marin AB of Sweden, a sister company who have established the TMQ brand in Scandinavia, to develop Northern European Manuals covering system installation.”
