Johnny Vickers appointed as director at RWD

Almost two months after naming Toby Ecuyer as partner, UK-based design studio Redman Whiteley Dixon (RWD) has announced the appointment of Johnny Vickers as a director. Vickers, who started his career at RWD 12 years ago, returns to the studio after a six-year period in London where he established the yacht design division at Candy and Candy before taking on the role of senior designer at Terence Disdale Design.

“I always hoped the right circumstances would give me the opportunity to work with Justin, Tony and Toby again,” reveals Vickers. “They have headed a hugely talented, world leading design team for over 20 years and on top of that they are three of the nicest, most honest people you are likely to meet, let alone work with. It is a huge privilege to re-join the company, which continues to provide such quality design work to its worldwide client base.”


Vickers will be responsible for developing and building upon new and existing projects for the studio, utilising his knowledge and experience of luxury design items from furniture to private aircraft.
