The carpentry firm Martin Riederle GmbH, to be renamed Riederle Werkstätten GmbH, specialises in private interior and luxury yacht outfitting and will now join the established interior outfitter List GC.
Martin Riederle, who has managed the company since 1999, said in a statement: “In List GC, I have found the perfect successor for my family-run company. I can rest assured that both my staff and customers will be in the best hands.” The acquisition expands List GC's production facilities by 1,250 m², addressing growing industry demand for handcrafted, high-quality luxury projects.
Riederle Werkstätten GmbH, a consolidated subsidiary of List GC, will be managed by Josef Payerhofer and Christian Bolinger, both of whom are part of List GC’s management team. Payerhofer commented, “The acquisition perfectly complements the products and services offered at List GC.”
Theresa Ludwiger-List, fellow Managing Director of List GC, considers the acquisition a strategic move that increases in-house capacity and group value. In a statement, the company added that through these steps it is attempting to address the skilled labour shortage in the industry. The company is also investing in expansion at their headquarters in Bad Erlach, Austria, and Cohrs Werkstätten in Bad Fallingbostel, Germany.
