Ocean Independence appoint new Yacht Manager

OCEAN Management, the yacht management arm of Ocean Independence, has appointed Piers Flood as a Yacht Manager based at OCEAN Management head office in Uster, Switzerland.

Mr Flood has worked as both a land and marine engineer. During his 11-year marine career he has worked as the chief engineer aboard a range of yachts from 30m to 90m, obtaining the MCA’s highest Yacht engineering qualification. In 2005 Mr Flood supervised the build  refit of a number of yachts from 28 to 55m in various locations including Russia, Poland, Turkey, Italy, Holland and the UK. In addition to these projects he has been involved with extensive pre-contract studies on yachts ranging from 80m to over 130m.
