Raymarine opens new office in Netherlands

Raymarine will open a new office in the Netherlands on 1 July 2011.  Raymarine Nederland has been set up to provide a dedicated sales, service, technical support and country distribution facility within Holland.  The office will be based at Velp, near Arnhem, in the South East of the region.

The team in the Netherlands will be headed up by Country Manager, Harrold van Asselt, supported by Marc Ledieurt, Raymarine’s Area Sales Manager European Subsidiaries.  Marc van der Hoek and Maarten Beemster have joined the company as Internal Sales Manager and Field Sales Manager respectively.  Jeroen Marijnissen will also join the company as Field Sales Manager from 1 July, when the new office opens.

Raymarine’s Director of Sales and Marketing Andy King said: “We are delighted to be opening the new Raymarine Nederlands facility.  This move has been made to ensure the level of customer service, support and technical advice within the Netherlands meets our company-wide high standards, with dedicated Raymarine staff.  This is a move which we have found from experience ensures a higher level of customer satisfaction and consistency worldwide.”
