Hargrave Custom Yachts to offer VesselVanguard to its customers

VesselVanguard, a web-based subscription service for the management of a superyacht, has announced a new partnership with superyacht designer, builder and distributor, Hargrave Custom Yachts.

Introduced to the yacht management service by a client requesting VesselVanguard for their 38.1m Hargrave Custom Yacht, Hargrave's president Mike DiCondina was convinced that a partnership would add value for existing customers by providing enhanced yacht management. Hargrave plans to introduce the VesselVanguard service to more than 100 of its customers to simplify the management of their 21-41m range of vessels.

Hargrave customers may select to be provisioned with a complete VesselVanguard Boat Profile including a digital master equipment list, library of manuals and a customised maintenance calendar for timely upkeep requirements of all onboard systems.



“Hargrave Custom Yachts can have over 150 different systems to maintain and service on the vessel,” said DiCondina. “VesselVanguard offers seamless organisation to manage these complex systems and keep them in top working condition. The service will ‘push’ monthly Task Alerts to the owner, captain and Hargrave management, in advance of need, based on elapsed days or hours between required service intervals to not only enhance servicing convenience and add peace of mind for our yacht owners, but to provide Hargrave a key tool for its industry-leading support and delivery of unparalleled value.”

The VesselVanguard lifecycle management system’s application is available 24/7 online via computers, smart phones or Apple iPads. Email and text alerts inform owners, captains and contractors of routine maintenance and inspection in advance, and all actions including supporting documentation become a part of the digital ship’s log.
