Yacht transportation is a popular option for yachts incapable of undertaking long passages under their own steam, or for owners looking for a faster alternative to deliveries, with the added benefits of giving crew time off and minimising vessel wear and tear.

With the increasingly versatile capabilities of yacht transportation vessels, we want to understand how the superyacht industry currently views the sector’s offering, and what further role it can play in the future in the context of changing migratory trends and operational habits.

In collaboration with DYT, The Superyacht Agency is undertaking a market perception survey to identify factors that the industry associates with yacht transportation as well as areas in which the sector can improve its proposition. We are calling on yacht owners, owner’s representatives, captains, first officers, yacht managers, brokers and shipyard and marina representatives to participate in a short market perception survey.

As a gesture of thanks, we will be giving away two GoPro Hero7 White cameras and three £20 Amazon gift vouchers to randomly-selected participants. Furthermore, all respondents who complete the survey will be eligible for a free one-year VIP subscription to The Superyacht Report.
