Humphree has released a new boat control system featuring automatic control of both trim and list.

The Asymmetric Interceptor HA+500 and HA+1000

The Bi-Trim Optimisation System (BTOS) automatically controls longitudinal trim to optimise performance, visibility, acceleration and fuel consumption. It is also capable of automatically adjusting a vessel’s list. The ship’s captain can set the most desirable list angle and the BTOS system will automatically extract or retract the Interceptor.

Per Landegren, Managing Director of Humphree, says of BTOS:

“BTOS is the Humphree answer to our customer demands and the system will set a new standard in onboard comfort and boat operation. The pilot can keep all focus on navigation and manoeuvring.”
