P & M Packing provides mast transport service

P & M Packing offers a comprehensive mast-packing and transportation service to its superyacht clients. The service is designed to prevent any small cracks or breakages developing during transportation.


The system is suitable for aluminium and carbon masts and is comprised of a combination of packing materials to create a lightweight, yet robust protection for spars. Strengthening is reinforced around lifting points and integral support cradles are built around the packed rig, which provides protection whether in transit or storage.

This mast-packing process is handled by P & M’s specialist team on the dockside where the rig is pulled out of the boat.
