Introducing Derecktor Ft. Pierce. America’s first shipyard designed and built specifically for megayachts. The global fleet of megayachts and large sailing yachts has a brand new destination. America’s first repair and refit yard designed and built with the 200 ft., 900 ton and up fleet in mind, Derecktor Ft. Pierce (DFP) will match the world’s great refit yards in both facility and ability. Situated directly inside Fort Pierce Inlet 3nm from the Atlantic Ocean, DFP offers deepwater (28 ft./ 8m) access with no overhead obstructions. Eight acres of level concrete apron give ample storage and repair space, with a newly refitted building housing machine, wood, electrical and pipe shops along with offices and other support services. The world’s largest mobile hoist - 1,500 tons - along with a planned 5,000 ton drydock will give unmatched flexibility and hauling capacity. With more than 1,000 feet/300 meters of protected dockage, in-water services are currently available and hauling operations are scheduled to commence in early 2021.
