NOMEN Products GmbH manufactures mooring cleats and fairleads, made of aluminium or stainless steel, for yachts, tenders and marinas. NOMEN products are much in demand as standard equipment on upmarket boats, power and sail, as well as on superyachts. In 2013 NOMEN won the DAME Award in the category of "deck equipment, sails and rigging" with the new CLIP-cleat which is designed as a combination of cleat and fairlead. The CLIP-cleat always remains closed, no matter whether it is belayed or not and sets a new standard for mooring equipment. In 2016 NOMEN brings out a new full-metal-version of the CLIP-cleat made from aluminium or stainless steel.
