About
With a long-standing passion for architecture, Laura Sessa started out in interior architecture, before evolving into interior design for superyachts. She inspires a sense of wellbeing and happiness, something which her clients love. She says that she is in constant conversation with her clients. Her focus is always on satisfying the needs of the owners, and never forcing her personal style or rules on her clients. It is imperative to create something harmonious.
Laura envisions spaces and how they work together. She believes it’s important that the yacht or home should be properly used and lived in, rather than a display piece. For Laura, a perfect design is achieved by the functionality of the design itself, and its general harmony. Involved in numerous projects, Laura Sessa and Imperial collaborated on the interior design of EVENT (60m), which was awarded a prize in 2014, as well as the timeless ASTRA (55m). More recently, Sessa has delivered impeccable interiors for LILI (55m).
