Mangusta 165 E Moonraker for sale with Moran Yacht & Ship
Moran Yacht & Ship has listed Overmarine’s 49.9m Moonraker for sale with an asking price of $24.5 million…
Following its sale of Hakvoort’s Something Cool last week and its appointment as central agents for ISA Yacht’s 66m Okto this week, Moran Yacht & Ship has also listed Overmarine’s 49.9m Moonraker for an asking price of $24.5 million. She is currently located at Boca Raton in Florida.
Moonraker is the eighth hull in Overmarine’s Mangusta 165 E series and was delivered as recently as 2014. The maxi-open features an entire GRP construction, a gross tonnage that is refined to 488GT, and a planing hull that only draws 1.65m and is designed for seamless performance over the surface of the water.
49.9m Moonraker
55.5 per cent of builds with planing hulls that exceed 49m are built by Overmarine and all of them are designed for thrill-seekers. Moonraker is able to reach a very high maximum speed of 40 knots and sustain a cruising speed of 34 knots. She is fitted with three inboard MTU 16V 4000 M93L engines (4,566hp) that are in like-new condition with only 410 hours on the clock.
The interior work for Moonraker was completed by Maxine Tisenbaum and Trevor Kruse (owner’s reps) and features accommodation for up to 10 guests over four staterooms. The exterior lines are the work of the yard and Italian designer Stefano Righini. The design studio has now completed the exterior lines for 364 30m+ yachts, working very closely with yards such as Azimut, Benetti and Overmarine in the 30m – 50m production line segment.
