AB Yachts - FIPA Group launches new AB 116

Tuscan Shipyard AB Yachts - FIPA Group, has launched the new AB 116 in the Port of Marina di Carrara. Water jet propulsion is one feature of the yacht that has become a necessity in high-speed yachting. The team at AB Yachts and skilled local craftsmen worked together in order to allow AB Yachts to launch another example of a 36m in less than 180 days. With three MTU 16V2000 M94 and 3 MJP water-jets, she is able to reach a top speed of 50 knots and cruise effortlessly at 44 knots.



The new AB 116’s Kevlar-carbon hull and superstructure is in a clear shade of silver and hosts ample and generous space on board. The yacht also has a total absence of vibration and noise even in rough sea conditions. The interior is fully customised to the preferences of the owner and space has been made a priority with a VIP double and twin cabin and a private office, with the same materials used both in these rooms as well as the crew cabins.
