Aqua Star
In the past, exploring the world under the sea and getting close to the unique ocean ecosystems was reserved for those with a diving qualification. However, Aqua Star Sea scooters have been designed to offer the scuba diving experience to virtually anyone without any of the equipment or effort required by the traditional diving experience...…
Sitting in your own breathing environment and travelling at speeds of up to 3.1mph, users can experience underwater vistas up to 12 metres below the surface. Building upon the success of the single seat AS1 model, Aqua Star has just launched a new two-person scooter, the AS2. After intense design and engineering, couples can share the underwater experience together.
Both models have two and a half hours of battery operation and are rechargeable. With controls that work like a standard land-based scooter, Aqua Star Scooters also have two electric motors, one for forward movement and another for vertical movement. These provide for precise control and maneuverability and safety.
The diving helmet is integrated into the scooters body, with the rider’s head goes inside an air chamber within the helmet, which is constantly supplied with air from scuba tanks for up to seventy minutes. The helmet features a flat fog resistant glass, which is 99% distortion free providing a clear underwater experience and ultimately reducing the nauseous feeling commonly associated with the bubble top models of the past.
The new Aqua Star scooters are sleeker, faster, and are much lighter than older models currently in operation, with the AS1 weighing in at 36kg and the AS2 at 72.5kg.
