Bilgin Yachts launches reverse bow Bilgin 132 superyacht 'M'
Turkish shipyard Bilgin Yachts has launched its 40m Bilgin 132 motoryacht, which will be sea trialled later today. The yard also has two further constructions in progress.…
Construction began on the Bilgin 132 in September 2010, and 20 months later she touched the water for her launch. “We will sea trial her later today,” said Berkay Yilmaz, project manager, naval architect and marine engineer at Bilgin Yachts.
The 40m motoryacht, that can sleep eight guests and six crew, has two MTU engines which allow her to cruise at 17 knots and reach a maximum speed of 21 knots.
Following delivery of the Bilgin 132 to her owner, the Turkish shipyard will remain busy. Two 48.7m Bilgin Classic 160s are under construction and expected to be delivered in the next few months, while other vessels are in their preliminary design stages. Yilmaz also told SuperyachtNews.com that today the first payment had been made for a 45m tri-deck motoryacht.
