Christensen Shipyards sign 50m Custom 164 order

Christensen Shipyards have announced the signing of an order for a 50m 164' Custom Series motoryacht at the Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show 2014. The new build is scheduled for delivery in August 2016. The new builld will feature a new exterior styling encompassing a fold out balcony and a swim deck extension. Accommodation is for 12 guests, with six cabins including owner and VIP cabins.

As was revealed in SuperyachtNews.com's recent exclusive interview with Joe Foggia, CEO of Christensen, the yard is very busy and is dealing with several postive inquiries. This new Custom 164' order joins a further eight builds underway, including three 164' Custom Series, two 160' Custom Series, one 142’ Custom Series and two Ocean Alexander 120's. The next Custom Series available is available for delivery in March of 2017.
