Digital Yacht Ltd device equips vessels with WiFi

Digital Yacht has designed a NMEA to WiFi adapter that converts navigation and instrument data into a wireless TCP/IP feed. The Wireless NMEA Server creates a WiFi hotspot aboard any vessel that allows the connection of mobile devices to the internet.

Users inform the software to search for NMEA on the WiFi port and the mobile device becomes wirelessly linked to onboard systems.
