Freire Shipyard delivers Spain's largest yacht
With its first superyacht completion in over a decade, the Spanish shipbuilder has delivered the country’s largest and highest tonnage yacht to date …
The aptly named 112m Renaissance from Freire Shipyard marks the company’s first superyacht delivery since 2011. The new vessel has now joined the charter fleet in the Mediterranean.
With the interior and exterior designed by London based Bannenberg & Rowell Design, Renaissance weighs in at 7,200GT and is capable of hosting 36 guests, with 19 cabins across six decks.
“We want to thank the more than 600 people who have worked on this project over the last years. Both direct personnel from the shipyard, subcontractors, suppliers, financial entities, and the classification society involved in this incredible project,” says the shipyard.“We extend a special and heartfelt thanks to the shipowner for placing their trust in Freire Shipyard.”
Now available to charter, the new yacht will be available for around $3.5m per week in in high season and $3.5m in the low season.
Freire Shipyard's all encompassing fleet includes everything from merchant vessels to tall ships for the Indonesian Navy. And it has delivered two superyachts prior to Renaissance.
The two superyachts previously delivered by the shipyard were 74m Naia in 2011 and OceanXplorer the year before.
