Gulf Craft reveals new 37m Majesty Yachts model
Tri-deck Majesty 120 revealed at Monaco Yacht Show 2019…
At a press conference during the Monaco Yacht Show 2019, Gulf Craft's executive chairman, Mohammed Hussein Alshaali, has announced their tri-deck Majesty 120 superyacht model in the Majesty Yachts Collection. Majesty 120 will be the first Majesty superyacht to feature 100% electrically operated services on board. Hull #1 is under construction in the Emirates and scheduled for completion in 2020.
Alshaali presented the new model, and said, “With the Majesty 120, everything except for the engines and generators are electrically powered - from the fin stabilisers to the thrusters and steering, from the balconies to the passerelle, all services onboard will not require any use of hydraulics.
“Listening to market demands for more efficiency as well as more comfort onboard, the Majesty 120 not only meets these demands but represents a new era of Majesty Yachts around the world" - Mohammed Hussein Alshaali, Executive Chairman - Gulf Craft
“Listening to market demands for more efficiency as well as more comfort onboard, the Majesty 120 not only meets these demands but represents a new era of Majesty Yachts around the world. Building on the quality and innovative design of the other models, the new model represents the best of the shipyard’s flagship brand,” concluded Alshaali.
Majesty 120 is 37m long, with a beam of 8.10m, and a draft of 2m, she has been constructed using advanced composites such as GRP and carbon fibre. Her naval architecture and exterior design has been carried out by Gulf Craft’s in-house design studio, while her interior design is the work of Italian studio, Cristiano Gatto Design.
The new model features the signature Majesty Yachts windows lining the hull, with an extensive use of glass can be seen further to the low bulwarks allowing for a glass railing design. She can accommodate up to 11 guests across five staterooms in an asymmetric layout, and can additionally accommodate a total of seven crew.
“Compared to other yachts in its class, the new Majesty 120 boasts 30% larger outdoor entertainment areas”, according to the Gulf Craft team. A hybrid beach club on the sun deck illustrates innovative design and engineering by Gulf Craft, as it can be converted into a tender storage unit offering flexibility to owners. The VIP stateroom entertainment area can also be transformed into a spacious lounge quarter on the lower deck.
