EP148 Horizon Polaris completes fifth sea trial

Throughout the cruise a division of quality control engineers undertook a series of tests on all of the vessel’s mechanical systems. These included stability tests, vibration tests zero stabiliser tests, turning radius tests and steering tests.
The EP148 Horizon Polaris is capable of over 4,500 nautical miles at 9 knots, with a cruising speed of 11 knots and a top speed of 16 knots.
According to marketing manager, Vincee Wu, the final sea trial was the culmination of a series of tests that scrutinised every aspect of her performance. It seems she will be at the peak of her performance upon delivery to her owner.
