Jade Yachts launch Smiling T

The 27.4m 'Smiling T' was launched by Jade Yachts, Taiwan, and will shortly undergo sea trials before she is delivered to her owner in Europe at the beginning of 2012...…

Jade Yachts, based in Taiwan, launched 27.4m explorer yacht Smiling T on 29 November.

The yacht, with naval architecture by Jade and exterior by JC Espinosa, comprises a master suite on the main deck and two double/twin cabins on the lower deck. An additional twin cabin is below deck, but this can be converted into a gym,or vice versa, for additional accommodation space. The teak interior is by Birgit Schnaase.

Smiling T will be able to cruise at 10 knots and is fully equipped with ABT zero speed stabilisers and is MCA compliant.

She will commence her sea trials shortly, in time to be delivered to her owners in Europe in January 2012.

The owner’s representative and Managing Partner of Ocean Independence, Peter Hürzeler, was present at the launch.
