Oceanair claims the product features a 100 per cent blackout shade, and there is also a magnetic handle to secure it in place, with an extendable flyscreen on the other side. This combination allows the user to opt for full darkness, a transparent view without allowing external access, or both.
The low profile design is suitable for horizontal or angled hatches and the blind housing and fabric is treated and marinised to stand up to the higher UV levels encountered when on the water.
The Skyscreen Roller Surface has size corners to match all major hatch brands, and requires no recess or cavity for installation, instead being flush-mounted with four screws to the headlining of any boat.
