Sarp Yacht has announced that, this week, its first project has successfully hit the water in Antalya, Turkey. Already a multi award-winner, the 46m superyacht will now embark on a period of sea trials, prior to her delivery in May 2016.

Designed by Taka Yacht Design, Osman Tanju Kalaycioglu, this collaborative project was designed specifically to sit just below the 500GT market - saving costs throughout her lifetime. The result is a powerful and sturdy looking superyacht.

The interiors were left in the capable hands of the British designers at Adam Lay Studio, known for previous projects such as 36.6m Blue Attraction. According to the studio, the brief was to ‘produce an eye-catching, sophisticated and elegant interior that takes its inspiration from nature.'

The Sarp 46 has a good cruising range of 3,200 nautical miles at 12 knots, which is the average range for 40-47m motoryachts.

The Sarp 46 is currently listed for sale for €22.5 million with Northrop & Johnson
