Auckland superyacht builder Yachting Developments are nearing completion of a 27.7m ultra sleek sports fisher styled power boat named 'Satu'... …

Auckland based yard Yachting Developments report that they are nearing completion of the 27.5m ultra sleek sports fisher styled power boat Satu.  Designed by Ullberg Yacht Design to allow the owner access to remote untapped international fishing grounds in comfort, Satu is powered by twin 2,500hp MTU 16V Diesel engines giving an estimated top speed of 33+ knots.

The vessel is well appointed with elaborate onboard systems giving the ability to operate in a self sufficient mode for several months at a time. Hull construction is composite with a large signature tuna tower, the interior is finished to superyacht standard.

The launch date is set for August 2012 in Auckland.  Once commissioned, Satu will be shipped to Florida where she will be displayed at the 2012 Ft Lauderdale International Boat Show by her owner.
