Triak

The list of available superyacht toys and tenders seems never ending. There are countless seabobs, dinghies, kayaks and jetskis to choose from, but some offer a more unusual experience than others. Enter Triak, a single seat, composite trimaran sailing kayak that can quickly switch between performance sailing and kayak-like paddling.

At 5.5-metres, the Triak features a roller furling mainsail, asymmetrical spinnaker and spinnaker snuffer. Its sleek design with dual outriggers and wing makes the Triak easy to store and assemble and extremely stable and safe.

Designed to be lightweight and fairly compactable, Triak only weighs 45.5kg. Constructed from high-quality fibreglass, the entire boat is vacuum infused e-glass with a honeycomb core, while the mast is carbon fibre and there are carbon unidirectional stringers in the wing.

The Triak offers a surprisingly dry experience even in sloppy conditions despite being so close to the water and the raised, ergonomic, padded seat is designed to allow hours of comfortable sailing and paddling.
