VEEM Gyro forms agreement for European sales agency

Australian marine equipment specialist, VEEM Limited, has executed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Italian marine equipment distributor SAIM Group.

The objective of the MOU is to build the foundations for a Central European VEEM Gyro sales agency, and therefore a new delivery platform for its gyro products, including the roll stabilisation devices engineered for use on superyachts.


The agreement was announced at the 2013 SEATEC trade conference in Carrara, Italy.


“We are very excited by the opportunity to work with such a well respected group in the marine market,” said Paul Steinmann, product manager at VEEM Gyro.

Sales territories are yet to be confirmed, however the outcome of the MOU will enable VEEM Gyro to build its presence in the central European market, increasing its international presence in the global marine industry. Potential sales territories include Italy and the Mediterranean coast of France, where SIAM Marine has branches, and in Croatia where it has sales and distribution networks.
