Luxury Hospitality launches Mind app

The performance-management tool offers a 360-degree approach to human resources on board…

Luxury Hospitality Management has announced the impending release of its new crew engagement app, Mind. Mind is a performance-management tool that measures crew engagement and motivation using a mobile app. Data-driven insight then provides actionable recommendations to heads of department and management to help retain talent on board and increase productivity.

Having successfully piloted the new approach to human resources with 90m Oceanco new build DAR, Luxury Hospitality will release the app to the wider market at The Superyacht Forum 2018, to be held in Amsterdam from 12 to 14 November. Mind will be sold as part of a package that includes both the app and training for the on-board leadership to work with the resulting data to increase job satisfaction and performance and reducing turnover.

To support these new operations, Luxury Hospitality has attracted two new employees: Erik Smit, the former general manager at several one and two star Michelin restaurants, as well as the Hotel de L’Europe, and Georgie Mainey, who trained as a chef and worked as a first mate and chief stewardess on superyachts for over 10 years.

The Superyacht Forum will take place from 12 – 14 November in Amsterdam. Click here to register and here to view the programme outline.
