Lauderdale, Florida USA – October 4, 2019 Quantum Marine Stabilizers is pleased to announce that the Australian based, WATMARINE ENGINEERING PTY LTD (WATMAR) has been selected to represent and provide technical services and new equipment sales for Quantum products and systems in the Commonwealth of Australia. 

WATMAR is a leading provider of engineering products and services, supporting multiple industries including Defense and Marine with facilities in Perth, Adelaide and Sydney.  The WATMAR partnership will significantly enhance Quantum’s ability to provide prompt assistance to its Australian clients.

WATMAR will be involved in servicing and supporting the Quantum Stabilizer Systems on the Australian Navy’s new Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPV’s) being built by Luerssen Australia Pty Ltd.  This high profile, multi-year project, will require comprehensive in region support. Furthermore, this agreement complies with the Australian Industry Capabilities Program (AIC), which aims to provide defense work opportunities for Australian based companies.

Beyond the military industry, Quantum maintains an 85% market share in vessels over 55m.  WATMAR will be well positioned to assist in the maintenance, service and sales support of military vessels and yachts within the Commonwealth of Australia.
