PRIVA: "Every second owners spend on board needs to be perfect"
TSF 2018 partner PRIVA discusses delivering the best on-board experience possible through connectivity…
Last year, PRIVA replaced MTN as Global Eagle’s luxury brand, serving clients with entertainment and connectivity packages across a host of assets, including superyachts, private jets and private villas. Since the rebranding, PRIVA has invested in enhancing its offering to ultra-high net worth individuals around the world, and its partnership with The Superyacht Forum in November will offer a perfect opportunity to communicate how far the brand has come in 2018.
“Our partnership with The Superyacht Forum will give the rebrand continued exposure and remind the industry that we are no longer the same company, not just because we have a different name, but because we have restructured internally in order to deliver the customer-focused service that we promise our clients,” says Matt Buley, senior director at PRIVA. “As well as the exposure to captains, crew, project managers and owners, the event enables us to sit down in an open forum and discuss ideas with the industry. PRIVA is a very dynamic company in how it manoeuvres, and so the Forum gives us the opportunity to grasp new ideas from peers and develop them into our own business.”
Key to PRIVA’s offering is understanding that many of its clients own vessels 365 days a year, but may only spend three weeks on board in total and, therefore, every second owners spend on board needs to be perfect. At The Superyacht Forum, PRIVA will be drawing delegates’ attention towards their vision and mission statement – Enrich Time.
“The only thing that owners can’t buy is time, so PRIVA’s main focus is on enriching the time that the client spends on board in terms of entertainment and connectivity,” describes Buley. “Connectivity is so important in everyday life – whether it’s for work, communication or streaming music and videos – and it can become a big frustration if it is not up to scratch. With the slogan Enrich Time at the core of what we do, we want to enable our clients to create priceless moments on board and deliver the at-home experience to their yachts.”
The team joining Buley at the Forum in November will include Ole-Kristian Siversten, senior vice-president of maritime at Global Eagle and Juliette Warter, director of channel management at PRIVA. Speaking with the PRIVA team will be one of the many opportunities present at The Superyacht Forum to discuss diverse topics in a space full of people who are all on the same wavelength. Last year, close to 900 VIPs, industry leaders and key decision-makers attended to take advantage of the unrivalled networking opportunities, and with this year's theme focusing on The Perfect Customer Journey, TSF 2018 will be another unmissable event.
The Superyacht Forum 2018 takes place from 12 to 14 November at RAI Amsterdam, in association with METSTRADE. Click here to find out more about TSF 2018 and to register your place at this year's must-attend event.
